Mr. Bunker is survived by his wife, the former Margaret Hammes, of Appleton; three brothers, Dewey, Neenah; Harold D. and Clifford G., both of Detroit, Mich; six sisters, Mrs. Gladys Olsen, Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. Charles Dezer Jr., Sea Gert, N.J.; Miss Dorothy Bunker and Mrs. Paul Butterfield, both of Neenah; Mrs. George Vargo, Denver, Colo.; Mrs. August Kirchman, Belle Glade, Fla. Funeral services will be hled Saturday morning in Michigan. Friends in the Appleton area may call at the Brettschneider-Trettin Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Sunday Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Committal service will be held at 10 am Monday at St. Joseph Cemetery.

Appleton - Services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. in Kessler Funeral Home, Neenah, and at 11 a.m. in St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church for Dewey T. Bunker, 87, Appleton, who died Friday.
The Rev. Ronald Schneider will officiate and burial will be in St. Margaret Cemetery.
Mr. Bunker was born June 12, 1899, in Nadeau, Mich., the son of Jeremiah and Louise Gauthier Bunker. He married Ellie Smith Dec. 19, 1925, in Oshkosh.
He was employed at Marathon Corp.'s Washington Street plant from 1919 to 1964 and then worked at Gardner Bakery for 14 years after retiring. He was a charter member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Neenah.
Surviving are his widow; two daughters, Mrs. A.R. (Joyce) Vogel, Wausau, and Margaret "Peggy" Bunker, Appleton; one son, Eugene Bunker, DePere; two brothers, Harold, Detroit, Mich., and Clifford, LeRoy, Mich.; two sisters, Mrs. H. Lee (Catherine) Kabrich, Waterford, and Mrs. August (Muriel) Kirchman, Belle Glade, Fla.; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 4 to 9 p.m., with a prayer service at 8.

Age 62, passed away early Thursday morning. He had been a resident of Neenah for many years prior to moving to Michigan about 25 years ago. Mr. Bunker is survived by his wife, the former Margaret Hammes, of Appleton; three brothers, Dewey, Neenah; Harold D. and Clifford G., both of Detroit, Mich; six sisters, Mrs. Gladys Olsen, Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. Charles Dezer Jr., Sea Gert, N.J.; Miss Dorothy Bunker and Mrs. Paul Butterfield, both of Neenah; Mrs. George Vargo, Denver, Colo.; Mrs. August Kirchman, Belle Glade, Fla. Funeral services will be hled Saturday morning in Michigan. Friends in the Appleton area may call at the Brettschneider-Trettin Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Sunday Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Englewood - Mrs. Ruby Bunker Dezer, 58, a former resident, died yesterday at her home in Sea Girt where she had lived for 3 years.
She was a native of Neenah, Wis. A registered nurse, she was graduated from Mt. Sinai Hospital School of Nursing. She was a member of the hospital's alumnae association.
She was also a member of the Children's Ward Auxiliary at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck.
Surviving are her husband, Dr. Charles N. Dezer; three brothers, Clifford and Harold Bunker, both of Detroit, Mich., and Dewey Bunker of Neenah; and three sisters, Mrs. Cecile Fargo of Denver, Colo., Miss Dorothy Bunker, and Mrs. Katherine Butterfield, both of Neenah.

She passed away at 1 p.m. Sunday unexpectedly. She was born March 16, 1913 in Nadeau, Michigan. She was a resident of Neenah for most of her life and was a graduate of Neenah High School in 1940. She was employed by the George Whiting Paper Company for the past 22 years. SGT. BUNKER DIES FIGHTING NAZIS IN ITALY
Staff Sergeant Allan Bunker, 29, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Bunker, 109 Third street, was killed in action Aug. 15, the war department today notified his wife, 109 Third street.
The telegram did not state where Staff Sergeant Bunker had made the supreme sacrifice, but he was in Italy when last heard from.
Staff Sergeant Bunker entered the service in December, 1942, and went overseas las April. He was stationed in North Africa before going to the battlefront in Italy.
Born in Nadeau, Mich., Staff Sergeant Bunker lived here since he was two years of age. He attended the public schools and graduated from Neenah high school. He was employed in the Badge-Globe mill of the Kimberly-Clark corporation before entering the army.
Surviving, in addition to the wife, the former Kathleen Mulhern of Portage and the parents, are a daughter, Virginia; seven sisters, Mrs. Alfred Olsen, Detroit, Mich.; Miss Grace Bunker, Lynhurst, N.J.; Miss Ruby Bunker, New York City; Miss Dorothy Bunker, at home; Miss Cecille Bunker, Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Paul Butterfield, Neenah, and Miss Muriel Bunker, Washington, D.C. and five brothers, Dewey and Clyde Bunker, both of Neenah; Clarence, Detroit, Mich.; Harold, serving with the coast guard at Chicago, and Private First Class Clifford Bunker, Camp Crowder,Mo.

Neenah Sergeant is Killed in Italy
Staff Sergeant Allan Bunker, 28, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Bunker, 109 Third street, Neenah, was killed in action Aug. 15 in Italy, according to a war department telegram received by his parents this morning.
Sergeant Bunker, gunner on a Liberator bomber, left the United States last April. In a letter received by his parents last week he stated he had completed his forty-eighth mission and expected to be home in September.
The airman enlisted in January, 1942, and received his early training at Santa Ana, Calif. He was stationed at Tucson, Ariz., shortly before going overseas. His last furlough at home was in February.
Born in Nadeau, Mich., he came to Neenah with his parents when he was about one year old. He studied at St. Patrick school, Menasha, and Neenah High school and was a graduate of the latter. Before entering the service he was employed by the Kimberly-Clark corporation.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife and one daughter, Virginia Louise, Portage; five brothers, Dewey and Clyde, Neenah; Clare, Detroit, Mich.; Harold, with the coast guard at Chicago; and Clifford, in the army, Camp Crowder, Mo; and seven sisters, Mrs. A. M. A resident of Neenah-Menasha most of her life, she was born in Neenah Aug. 22, 1923. She was a graduate of St. Mary High School with the class of 1942.
Surviving are a daughter, Sharyon, and a son, Jeffrey, both at home; her mother, Mrs. Clyde Bunker, Neenah; two brothers, Norman Bunker, Menasha and Richard Bunker, Neenah; four sisters, Mrs. Florian Neuman, Ankery, Iowa; Mrs. Janet Herreman, Sun Prairie; Mrs. Barbara Hribernik, Neenah, and Mrs. Douglas Fredericks, Menasha.

Norman P. Bunker
Norman P. Bunker, 85, Neenah, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2011, at Oakridge Gardens Nursing Center, Menasha. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 28, 2011, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 900 Geiger St., Neenah, with Fr. Richard Allen officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Monday, February 28, 2011, at the church until the time of the Mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established. A complete obituary will appear in the Friday, February 25, 2011 edition.

Jenny Alexander
Santa Barbara, Calif./Sauk City - Jenny Alexander was born on Feb. 10, 1944 in Neenah, and passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2009, after a courageous battle with lymphoma. He father, Alan Bunker, was killed in World War II when Jenny was only six months old. Her mother, Kathleen Mulhern Bunker, and Jenny returned later to Kathleen's home are of Prairie du Sac after Alan's death to be close to her parents and family. Kathleen met Karl Ganzlin and they were married in 1951. Jenny began her early life together with her parents in Prairie du Sac. A few years later, Jenny joined by her sister, Julie and brother, Bill (Beaver), who were very close and important to her throughout her life. Jenny went on to college where she met and married Jim Haskins. She had her only beloved child, David Haskins, while pursuing her undergraduate degree. She went on to earn a Ph.D. in educational psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1981. Jenny worked as researh associate and instructor at UW-Madison where she met her future husband, Aris Alexander, a professor of psychology at UW-Madison. Jenny and Aris married in 1981 and moved to Hollister Ranch, Santa Barbara, Calif., upon Aris' retirement in 1990. Once Settled on "the ranch", Jenny loved having her parents come for an annual winter visit. She also enjoyed visits by her family and many friends over the years. Jenny was especially clost to Robert, Sylvia and Noely Gutierrez whom she adopted as her second family. In addition to her family and friends, Jenny's greatest passion was her horses and dressing (riding). She dearly loved her horses and her dog, Pepper. She served on the board of the local chapter of the California Dressage Society and co-ordinated numerous horse shows over the years. She also served on the board of the Santa Ynez Valley Therapeutic Riding Program and held several officier positions. She was a avid follower of "The Pack" and the Badgers, and enjoyed sharing game notes with her son, David. Jenny was preceded in death by her stp-father, Karl Ganzlin; and father Alan Bunker. She is survived by her mother, Kathleen Ganzlin; son, David Haskins; husband, Aris Alexander; sister, Julie Ganzlin and husband Steve Kilmer; brother Bill and wife, Chris; and niece and nephew, Madeline and Peter Ganzlin. She is also survived by many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009, at St. Aloysius Church, Sauk City.
