Her other children (10-22yrs) were "in service and in a position to earn a living". She was given permission to sell her half interest in the house, "after which the said Francois Dumas and she will be in a position to remove to their relatives in France to be cared for and to enjoy what little possession they have." Francois and Marie did not leave, daugher Marguerite was baptized in Quebec on 20 Jul 1690.

Marie arrived in Quebec in 1664 (a king's daughter), was the mother of a child baptized under the name of Julienne on 19 December 1665, daughter of Guillaume Morin, illegitimate. The baby died.
Marriage contract was signed on 5 January 1666.
