  	Rene received a concession of land 4 arpents in frontage on the Saint-Charles River. Notary Francois Genaple drew up the contract on 15 March 1698. By then Rene had cleared land and built some outbuildings. He sold the land to Francois Chartre on 12 February 1699 for 25 livres.
