Richard John McCoy, age 83 of Cadillac, died November 25, 2012 at his home
He was born May 6, 1929 in Detroit the son of the late William J. and Burness (Preuss) McCoy. He was employed as the custodial supervisor at East Detroit Public School.
He is survived by his daughter, Kathleen Redge and "Buddy" Dennis Bradfield of Cadillac; daughter-in-law, Colleen McCoy; grandsons, Neil (Lisa) MacKenzie, Mike (Wendy) MacKenzie, Andrew MacKenzie, Daniel McCoy; granddaughters, Jeanne MacKenzie, Shannon McCoy; 7 great-grandchildren; and brother, Tom (Millie) McCoy of Florida. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty (Grabowski) McCoy, and son, David McCoy.

WILLIAM J. McCOY -
Mr. McCoy, 68, died Saturday in his home at 14380 Harbor Island. A lifelong Detroiter, he was president of McCoy Carpet Co. at 14301 E. Warren.
Mr. McCoy was a veteran of World War I. Surviving are his wife, Burness; two sons, Richard and Thomas, and two brothers, James and Emmett.
Rosary services will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday in Eppens-Van Deweghe Funeral Home at 6150 Cadieux. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday in St. Martin Church, Drexel and Averhill. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
