The Petition of Mrs. Clara Duqette who is of the age of twenty-one years and upwards, of the County of Wayne respectfully shews:
That Joseph Duquette late of Detroit in said County of Wayne departe this life in said City of Detroit on Saturday the 28th day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty seven leaving a last Will and Testament, as your petitioner is informed and verily believes
That deceased was, at and immediately previous to his death, an inhabitant of said County of Wayne and the he was possessed of Real & Personal Estate, situate and being in the County of Wayne to be administrated, and that the estimated value thereof is the sum of two thousand dollars or thereabout as your petitioner is informed and verily believes.
And your petitioner further shews that the names and residence of the heirs at law of said deceased, and other persons interested in his estate, are as follows:
Your petitioner widow of deceased Residence Detroit Mich 62 Pine Street
Your petitioner therefore prays that all persons interested in said estate may be duly cited as required by law, and as to this Court may seem proper, that said Last Will & Testament may be admitted to Probate that adminisration of said estate may be granted to the executive in said Will named and that such other and further order and proceedings may be had in the premises as may be required by the statutes in such case made and provided.

Obituary:
After a long illness, Mrs. Barbara C. Otto, widow of the late Henry A. Otto, passed asway Sunday morning at 2 o'clock at her home, 247 Oakland Avenue. Mrs Otto was taken ill in February and had suffered long and patiently from a complication of diseases. The funeral will be hled from the home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Dr. J. R. J. Milligan officiating. Burial will be in the family lot at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Barbara C. Leonard was the youngest of seven daughters born to Mr. and Mrs. Peter Leonard. She was born in the township of Waterford April 28, 1840, and was married to Henry A. Otto November 29, 1860. To them were born six children, four of whom survive. Frank and Henry of Detroit and Mrs. Mabel Marsh and Mrs. Ray H. Newman, who made their home with their mother. A sister, Mrs. Catherine McCullough of Ypsilanti, also survives.
