Land 19 Sep 1664 Cap de la Madeleine, Quebec, Canada [5] - Notary la Touche drew up papers for Gilles to buy a lot measuring 2 X 40 arpents on the Saint Marc coast at Cap de la Madeleine. The seller was Benjamin Anseau, Sieur du Berri. His neighbors would be Anseau to the southwest and Louis Boudor to the northeast. This sale was ratified on the following first of February by Louise Poisson, wife of the Sieur du Berri.

Land 16 Jul 1669 Cap de la Madeleine, Quebec, Canada [5] - He sold a piece to Pierre Juneau, 2 X 40 arpents. Notary Guillaume de Larue.
Land 6 Oct 1669 [5] - He aquired property at Arbre a la Croix from Martin Foisy, but the contract was canceled on the following 12 December.
Land 1670 [5] - He accepted a plot in the fief of Nicolas Marsolet, but he sold an arpent of meadowland to his neighbor Martin Foisy.
Land 8 Feb 1673/74 [5] - Dupont sold to Claude David, a section of the Arbre measuring 3 X 40 arpents. This land, according to Abbot Prosper Cloutier, was situated between that of Pierre Durand and of Etienne Gelineau. It was acquired on 13 Feb 1668 in a contract recorded by Severin Ameau, but never entered in the official records.
Land 28 Feb 1673/74 [5] - Gilles acquired a building lot from Michel David, four arpents wide, in the seigneury of Champlain.
Land 6 Mar 1678/79 [5] - He accepted a grant of three arpents of land from Francois Hertel de Lafresniere, seigneur of Arbre-a-la-Croix. The Hertel fief in 1681 was inhabited by only five familes: Pierre Durand, Gilles Dupont, Pierre Proust, Martin Foisy and Nicolas Millet de Marandais.
