    • In June of 1661, the Angier Iroquois began to terrorize the region. It was at this time that Louis mysteriously disappeared along with Louis Guimond. A document at the Seminary of Quebec states: "on the 18th of this month (June 1661) at 8:00 in the morning began the massacre of several people at Beaupre...which is found to be true".
