    • Mr. and Mrs. Ernest F. Creighton

      The marriage of Miss Edna Valliere, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Valliere, to Mr. Ewart F. Creighton, of Chicago, was celebrated Saturday morning, January 2, at 9 o'clock at St. Joachim's church. Rev. Jos Oster, C., SS. P., officiated. Miss Adele Valliere, sister of the bride, attended as bridesmaid and Mr. Michael D. Beaver, of Jamestown, N.Y., assisted as best man.
      The bride was attired in cream messaline with picture hat to match and carried a shower bouquet of bridal roses. The bridesmaid wore pearly gray messaline with hat to match and carried pink roses.
      Among the out of town guests were Mr. Michael D. Beaver, Jamestown, N.Y.; Mr. and Mrs. Louis Valliere, Dayton, O.; Mr. Walter Valliere and Miss Sophia Hanson, Cleveland, O. After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride, 250 Jos. Campau avenue, which was decorated with holly and poinsettia, and dinner was served to the immediate families, after which Mr. and Mrs. Creighton, left for Chicago, their future home.
