8597 (Research):October 2016 - Story according to Tim McGuire and confirmed by Franklin Quinlan (and who identified the owners), Daisy and her husband Jack owned a bar that was directly on top of the Detroit/Hamtramck border. The cities had different closing times. (Not sure which was first) At the closing time for the first city the patrons would slide down the bar to the other end and continue drinking until the next closing time.
