21403 | Raymond, Sarah Jane M. Age 93, of Howell, surrounded by family, went to be with Jesus on September 18, 2015. She took a piece of our heart with her as she entered heaven and heard her Savior say, "Well done my good and faithful servant." God gave her loved ones a sign as she left this earth at 1:58 a.m. (1 true God, 5 for grace to go on without her, and 9 for her new beginning). At the time of Sarah's death, her Rose of Sharon bush looked dead, but then we saw one beautiful bloom. My mon may have looked dead but she is alive with the King of all Kings, finally able to dance, sing, and be pain free. Sarah was the daughter of John and Harriet (Kellogg) Raymond; the beloved wife, soul mate and best friend of Raynald H. Raymond whom she married on May 16, 1942; precious most loving mother of Morris (preceded her in death), Ronald (Linda), Harry, Gene, Suzanne Lanning (Ray), Mark (Carol), Matthew (Susie), Marie Johnson, Luke, and Janet Weitzel (Dave). Sarah had 33 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Goodbyes are not forever. Goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean I'll miss you until we meet again. 21404 | Raynald H. Raymond, A giant of a man, was born on April 26, 1922. On December 16, 2016, surrounded by family at his Howell home, he stepped into heaven peacefully at 7:03 p.m. symbolizing the perfect completion of a life well lived for the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He took a piece of our hearts with him as he entered heaven and head his Savior say, "Well done my good and faithful servant." Ray was a decorated WWII veteran that served on the U.S.S. Pennsylvania; amazing father of 10 children; and loving grandfather to 39 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son, Morris; grandson Joel; and the love of his life and wife of 73 years, Sarah Jane Raymond. Ray, a member of Glory of Zion church, was a tenderhearted man who loved to laugh and serve people. He will be dearly missed. Goodbyes are not forever. Goodbyes are not the end. They just mean I'll be missing you until we meet again. John11:25 | Raymond, Raynald Harvey (I9)

21446 | REILLY WON IN NEW YORK ____ The Clever M. A. A. Wrestler Did Well In the Trials ____ Morgan Knocked Out By Woods At Newport. ____ Galesburg Is Certainly Of Getting "Axtell" Williams ____ Hall is Looking for a Match-General Sporting Matters. ____ New York, March 19. - (Special.) - The annual boxing and wrestling championship tournament of the Amateur Athletic Union opened here at Madison Square Garden to-night. The classes in both branches of the sport filled very well and kept 3,000 spectators highly entertained for several hours. Detroit was creditably represented in the wrestling by M. J. Reilly, M.A.A. He made short work of the only opponent he met during the evening, and is looked a warm favorite for the finals. The winners of preliminary bouts in the respective classes were: .... 125 pound class - Five men weighed in. In the first bout M. J. Reilly, Michigan A. C., Detroit, threw R. S. Baird, St. George's A. C., New York, in 37 seconds. Reilly went in to win without any cermony and after a few seconds caught his opponent in a half Nelson. The New Yorker struggled hard to get clear and in doing so landed on his back in a flying fall. Reilly seized the opportunity and pinned his man to the mat until he got the decision. Reilly's cleverness was loudly applauded. One hundred and thirty-five pound class - M. J. Reilly forfeited to Charles A. Kall, Lexington A. C. The western man did not care to jeopardise his chances in the other class and wisely decided to reserve himself for the final bout in the higher class, which he looks to winning on Wednesday night. His most dangerous opponents are thought to be Walsh, of Boston, and McGrew, of Pittsburg. | Reilly, Michael Joseph (I310)
