20057 | Obituary __ Mrs. Barney Nadeau St. Francis Xavier's church at Spalding was packed to the doors Saturday morning at nine o'clock when funeral services were conducted for Mrs. Barney Nadeau of Powers who died at her home Wednesday after an illness of two years' duration. Rev. Fr. Joseph Schaul was celebrant at the requiem high mass. The many beautiful floral tributes and the large number of spiritual offerings which surrounded the casket were silent testimony of the esteem in which Mrs. Nadeau was held by a host of friends. 20058 | Obituary __ Nicholas Beaudette __ One of the largest funeral held in this city in many months was that which was held at St. Patrick's church Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock for Nicholas Beaudette, 1617 Second avenue south, who passed away Saturday at University hospital, Ann Arbor, where he had gone to consult specialists for a serious cas of carcinoma of the throat. Rev. Father Gerald Harrington was celebrant at the requiem high mass. Mrs. Walter O'Connell sang two hymns, "O Meritam Passionis" and "Ave Maria." The room which the body lay pending the hour of the funeral services, was banked with beautiful floral tributes, among which were intermingled many spirtual offerings which besopke the high esteem in which the family is held by their many friends. Rev. Father Harrington and members of the Holy Name society gathered at the home Tuesday evening and recited the rosary for the rpose of the soul of the decedent. The casket was borne by close friends and neighbors, Julius LeCaptain, Henry Roemer, Thomas Campbell, Louis Savard, Napoleon Bernier and Norbert Ranguette.
