14604 In the register 1850 of L'Assomption Church in Sandwich is the record of the death of John Reilly. Partial transcription is as follows:
The 2 September 1850..... buried in the cemetery of this parish the corps of John Riley, spouse of Bridgette Heygen, died at the age of 50 years, passed away in this parish the 30 September last. Present Michel Riley, his son, Patrick Maguire and Patrick Riley who could not sign. Signed Patrick Maguire and Micheal Reilly.

I believe that the date of this record was incorrectly transcribed. It is between the baptism of Elisabeth Chardron on 30 Sep 1850 and the burial of Mary D. Cavanagh on 4 Oct 1850. I believe that he died on 30 Sep 1850 and was buried on 2 Oct 1850.
John Reilly wrote is last will and testament on 4 Sep 1850, so he was alive in 1849.
