The property included "a small house of stone, wood trimmed, with a stable at the end". Raphael Giroux agreed to pay 500 livres tournois in three installments. The buyer would also provide "four days of hauling with four oxen for the clear sowing and a man to help plow what work will be done on the said land sold by the said sellers, with the consent of the said buyer, and was reserved for them, the use of the said sold concession until the day and feast of saint Martin of this year". The farm had 10 arpents under cultivation, "an old house of upright logs covered with planks sixteen feet long and thirteen feet wide with a clay chimney".
