    Before notary Claude Auber, Gilles Moulineux signed a contract with Francois and "sold to Francois Thibault, for 45 livres, one arpent of low land to be taken on the northeastern part of his concession, adjoining Jean Le Picart, to begin from the boundary of the said concession on the edge of the said Grand Riviere as far as the second hill and above the said coast or hill by two and a half arpents which make the width of the rest of the concession of Moulineux grant or, as far as the depth of fifty arpents".

This land consisted of 3 arpents of frontage on the Saint-Lawrence River by 40 in depth and included hunting and fishing rights. The annual rent was 6 livres and 3 live capons. The document was signed by de Chavigny, Eustache Lambert and the notary in the home of seigneurie Vincelotte.
    Francois also agreed to manage the farm of de Chavigny. Genevieve would provide the seed grains that he would plant and harvest, of which half he would keep for himself.

    Francois and Elisabeth Agnes gave to their son, Louis upon his marriage, one half of all their property. This included 3 arpents of frontal land, 9 head of cattle (4 draft), 1 plow, 1 cart, 2 axes, 2 pickaxes, 3 augers, 2 handsaws, 3 cooper's molds, 6 plates, 2 pots, 1 fire shovel, 1 gun and similar gear. Louis would provide his parents with heat, food and drink and allow them use of the garden, 1 cow and 6 hens. At their deaths he would have 25 masses said for their souls. The document was signed by Louis, Eustache Fortin and Claude Guimont.
