    Jean received 3 arpents of land in with from Charles de Lauzon-Charny. This land was located in the parish of Sainte-Famille, between that of Pierre Merlin and Marin Nourice.

    Legal Matter:
    When Marin Boucher ceded land to Jean in 1656, he also gave land to his son Jean-Galleran. In order for Jean-Galleran to get to his property he had to cross that of Jean Plante which created some problems. It was concluded that Jean-Galleran could "come and go by plow and cart above the remainder of their concessions with as little disturbance as will be possible".

    Travel:
    Jean left Canada in the fall of 1664 and returned in the spring of 1665.
