Marie, Ont., Mr. and Mrs. William Barker and children, Lorraine, Theresa and Norbert, of Manistique, have arrived in the city to attend the funeral of Nicolas Beaudette.

    Mr. and Mrs. Roy Bodette of Iron River arrived in the city Sunday evening, having been summoned by the death of Mr. Bodette's father.

    Clifford Beaudette of Chester, Pa., is expected to arrive this morning, having been summoned by the death of his father, Nicholas Beaudette.

    One of the largest funeral held in this city in many months was that which was held at St. Patrick's church Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock for Nicholas Beaudette, 1617 Second avenue south, who passed away Saturday at University hospital, Ann Arbor, where he had gone to consult specialists for a serious cas of carcinoma of the throat.
    Rev. Father Gerald Harrington was celebrant at the requiem high mass. Mrs. Walter O'Connell sang two hymns, "O Meritam Passionis" and "Ave Maria."
    The room which the body lay pending the hour of the funeral services, was banked with beautiful floral tributes, among which were intermingled many spirtual offerings which besopke the high esteem in which the family is held by their many friends.
    Rev. Father Harrington and members of the Holy Name society gathered at the home Tuesday evening and recited the rosary for the rpose of the soul of the decedent.
    The casket was borne by close friends and neighbors, Julius LeCaptain, Henry Roemer, Thomas Campbell, Louis Savard, Napoleon Bernier and Norbert Ranguette.
    Relatives and friends from away who came to this city for the obsequies included: Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Rutledge and family, Elkhart, Ind.; Mr. and Mrs. William Barker and family, Manistique; Clifford Beaudette, Chester, Pa.; Mr. and Mrs. Roy Beaudette, Iron River; Mr. and Mrs. Telesphore Gauthier, Mrs. Georgiana Rasicot, Nadeau; Mr. and Mrs. John Gauthier and family, Bark River; Mr. and Mrs. Louis Racicot, Schaffer; Mrs. Charles Dazer, New York City; Mrs. Jerry Beaudouin, Magolia, N.J.; Mr. and Mrs Adolph Simard. Iron Mountain; Mr. and Mrs. Adelor Page, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Firimin Beaudette, Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.; Mrs. Charles Clare, Manistique; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Parker, Neenah, Wis., and Mrs. Emil Faille, Chicago.
    Others who came to this city to pay a visit of condolence and who were unable to remain for the funeral services, were Sister M. Germain of Royal Oak, Sisiter M. Amelia of Kenosha, Wis., Sister M. Columbus of Adrian, Michi., and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Racicot and children of McFarland.
    Interment was in the family lot in St. Joseph Cemetery.
