    Father of Three Nuns Called by Death Saturday

    Joseph Racicot, 67, a resident of Nadeau and formerly of Schaffer died at a local hospital Saturday evening at 11:40 o'clock following a brief illness due to pericarditis. Mr. Racicot was taken to the hospital Saturday and passed away a few hours after having been admitted.
    Mr. Racicot was born September 19, 1863 in St. Constantine, Quebec, and came to Michigan many years ago. He lived at Schaffer for a while and later went to Nadeau to make his home.
    He follwed the trade of blacksmith at various lumber camps during the many years that he lived in the upper peninsula and was well known in this district.
    He is survived by his widow, and the following sons and daughters: Louis of Schaffer, Joseph, Jr., of McFarland, Mrs. William Lindquist, Mrs. Alice Lane, Sister M. Germaine, Sister M. Colondiere, Walter and Raymond, all of Detroit; Mrs. Ralph Parker, Mrs. Parker of Neenah, Wis., and Miss Marie Racicot, of Nadeau. One brother, Louis Racicot of Chicago and several grand children also survive.
    The body will remain at the Allo funeral home until this morning when it will be taken to St. Bruno's church at Nadeau where funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock with Rev. Fr. F. Sperline as celebrant at the requiem high mass.
    A daughter, Sister M. Rose Cecile, passed away at Detroit one year ago. The three daughters are members of the Dominican Order of Nuns.
    Interment will be in the family lot in the Nadeau Cemetery.

    Joseph Racicot
    Neenah - Joseph Racicot, 67, a resident of Neenah for eight years, died at 11:45 Sunday night at St. Francis hospital, Escanaba, Mich., of pneumonia. Mr. Racicot left here a few years ago to make his home at Escanaba. Surviving are the widow and eight children. They are Miss Marie Racicot of Escanaba, Louis Racicot of Shafer, Mich., Mrs. M. Lindquist, Mrs. Ellis Lane, Sister Germaine, Sister Colombiere, Walter and Raymond Racicot of Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. George Parker and Mrs. Ralph Parker of Neenah. The funeral was held Tuesday morning at St. Bruna (sic) church at Nedeau (sic), Mich. Burial was at Nedeau (sic) cemetery.
